Born and raised in Media, Pa; Ms. Starr has established herself as an opera singer, performer and voice teacher. She started opera nights at Fellini's in June of 2002 with owner Anthony Bellapigna and they have become a staple for exciting, quality "suburb" entertainment with a city flare! Heidi performs leading roles regularly with Opera Delaware's Family Opera Theatre, Concerts for Community and Media Theatre's Children's Theatre. Her favorite roles to date are the role of the Countess in the Marriage of Figaro and the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland. Ms. Starr has also performed with the Boston Symphony with the Tanglewood Chorus, the Rose Tree Pops and recorded an original opera at Franklin and Marshall College. Heidi has three amazing children, Jason, Julia and Will who are all very musical in their own unique ways! Heidi received her BFA in Music/Theatre from Syracuse University. She continues her voice and pedagogy studies with Marvin Keenze of Westminster Choir College. Her trio, 'Divas a la Carte', comprised of herself, Deborah Snow and Linda Tripolitis, is emerging as a popular, energetic professional fusion of opera, musical theatre and the "Andrew Sisters"!
